Committee Expectations
Execute all committee responsibilities;
Secure volunteers as needed;
Be punctual for meetings;
Be reliable & responsible;
Be respectful to other committee members, volunteers, staff and students;
Exercise mature judgment in supervising students;
Communicate any issues or concerns to the Executive Committee;
Accept guidance from Staff, OHBA Board Members and/or Committee Chairs;
Be willing to learn and participate in training & meetings;
Keep sensitive organizational information confidential;
Maintain a positive & professional social media presence in regards to band-related experiences & activities
Comply with the policies & procedures of the organization
Volunteer Expectations
Be professional, mature, & set a positive example
Be punctual for your volunteer shift;

Be respectful to staff, students, other volunteers, families & guests;
Exercise mature judgment in supervising students;
Do not provoke or support negative student behaviors
Communicate any issues or concerns which are likely to affect your volunteer duties;
Do your duties as assigned & directed;
Accept guidance from Staff, OHBA Board Members and/or Committee Chairs;
Be willing to learn & participate in training & meetings;
Keep sensitive organizational information confidential;
Maintain a positive & professional social media presence in regards to band-related experiences & activities
Bring student disciplinary concerns to the attention of a Director
Do not interfere with Staff-led activities & responsibilities, i.e. - rehearsal procedures, marching technique, music or drill learning, show design, etc.
Comply with the policies and procedures of the organization
